Never mind, I see that it's the QB coach and OC for St. Thomas. Guy's name is James Kilian.

Nice on-side kick. Game ain't over yet.

376-24-3 since the Kehres family started coaching. Plus tonight's outcome.

Those are video game numbers.

Here's another stat that will blow you away:

The last time Mount lost a game to anyone other than Wisconsin-Whitewater anywhere but in the Stagg Bowl was 2005.

Mount Union gets some players who could play in FCS or D2 but go there because they'll win championships. A dude from my high school passed up YSU to go play at Mt Union for example.

They talked about how they do it last night. Florida has no DIII schools and Mount Union recruits well out of the state of Ohio. There are 10 Florida kids on the roster plus others from Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, etc. but it is a heavy Ohio laden roster.

So basically they are the Ohio State of DIII.

The reason Mount is so good is because of Ohio high school football.

And kids that can't qualify for DI

I very much regret forgetting to watch for and watch this game. I enjoy watching it annually, unless I forget.

I'm going to go out onto another limb and guess that I'm the only person from Alliance, Ohio which is the home of the Mount Union Purple Raisers.

Born in Alliance, raised in Beloit. My wife is from Alliance and a Mount Union grad.
