this is potentially a great trade for the Heat. they finally get somebody to guard the rim on D and potentially score some on the block, and they get rid of Banks' deal. and they still have all their young guys.

I think the Heat can make a series with Boston and Cleveland, and straight up beat Orlando with this bunch.

i think they can beat orlando -jameer nelson.

this is a good move for miami. it doesn't make them a legit contender in the east though IMO. they'll make it to the second round of the playoffs and lose 4-2 to either cleveland or boston. i think this basically brings them for being around 5-6 in the east to a solid 3-4 depending on the health of orlando

Starting 5...

PG-Chalmers
SG-Wade
SF-Beasley
PF-Haslem
C-O'Neal

Main guys off bench..
Moon 6-7 SF with energy and athleticism, Cook- 6'6 SG who just won the 3 point contest, Magloire - a big body to bang down low. Quinn-can't say anything good on him except he doesn't hurt the team as a backup PG. Then Anthony as another big inside whose a GREAT SHOT BLOCKER.

Cook and Moon supply the scoring from the bench with Magloire and Anthony doing the D.

Not a bad core going ahead. And James Jones was brought in specifically by Eric Spolstra as a guy who he really liked. He used to get 8pts a game at Por and Pho
