Did anyone see the Lance Thomas super double dribble and travel vine that was not called? It was hilarious.

The Rockets were 4-0 against the Spurs last year, but I bet they preferred their championship.

Atlanta is full of transplants. Tons of people move to Atlanta and have no connections to a team, but if one starts winning of course local people will start going and root for them. They are also the first or second most fun team to watch play.

I mean I grew up there and have always loved the Hawks since my dad would always get tickets through work when I was younger. We use to go to a bunch of games, but my dad was never really a hawks fan since he grew up in Ohio. Now, he is of course rooting for them and watches them since he is a fan of basketball and he has lived there for like 26 years.

It's nice having a good team where you live. People suddenly having interest in Atlanta for the Hawks aren't bandwagon, but just more interested in the sport since the team they live around is great. They also probably aren't huge basketball lovers.
