So when you’re up at the end of games, why would you not just foul repeatedly?

I like the thought, but unfortunately it’s not practical.

this is the damning evidence, i figured they would be top 3, with that many free throws

Maybe, but their + on free throws is an absolutely absurd number.

Free throws need to be eliminated from the sport other than for flagrant and technical fouls only.

I actually support this for college, can’t say I watch the nba. Flopping is a problem. Bad refs are a problem. Bad rules that don’t allow everything to be reviewed is a problem. The final minutes of a game can be downright unwatchable.

I don't like the Lakers, and I'm sure they are getting favorable calls to put them in the playoffs. But the drives to the lane number was dumb, they are 4th in shots near the rim, not 27th.

Sunday night the Lakers shot 43 free throws to the Pacers 16
And points in the pain was 70-68 so it's not like the Pacers were avoiding the paint.

Maybe you are watching less and caring less, but with the amount being shelled out on record tv deals I think the NBA must be more relevant than ever. Live sports are the only thing that isn't being watched less.

Bad refs are a problem in every sport. They can dictate the outcome of a game and this is more so in basketball because a player can foul out. It doesn't matter what level from high school to the pros. There are more than one Tim Donaghy in this world. Some just hold a grudge for something that was said. It's not always about money.

82 games vs 162??? seriously?

I believe the WWE does better numbers than the NBA, let's not worry about MLB, should be worried about being 2nd,3rd,etc to wrasslin.

Actually wwe beats those numbers weekly, and those were supposed to be impressive numbers for NBA. LLOLOLO

NBA views these teams as the Washington Generals while the Lakers are the Globetrotters.

WWE did half the numbers of the NBA game. And the WWE only had 1 show while the NBA has about 12 games going on per night. 1 game had double the numbers of WWEs biggest show
