That's surprising. Josh Smith is pretty wildly inconsistent though, isn't he?

Stupid question. All of these guys that "could" do it have had chances and haven't done it. Not much more to be said about it.

Kevin Love?

First player I thought of.

Love had a 31 point, 31 rebound, 5 assist game last year. The assists would be the toughest for him though.

Would Kevin love being playing against Nba playoff talent? I think not. Under the circumstances love couldn't do it

that's why i added monroe...he's had some 30/14/2 game and he's a decent passer. if everything fell right for him i think it's theoretically possible (yet almost assuredly impossible)

big men who can pass and get 9 assists are rare

he's had games like 25/11/4 and 30/14/2 and 19/11/7

Kobe in the 2001 playoffs was pretty freaking dominant.

2001 2nd Round Playoffs Kobe Bryant vs Sacramento Kings

35.0 ppg 9.0 rpg 4.3 apg 47%fg 20%3P 86%FT

in game 4 he went for 48/16/4

2001 3rd Round Playoffs Kobe Bryant vs San Antonio Spurs

33.3 ppg 7.0 rpg 7.0 apg 51%fg 36%3P 77%FT

in game 1 he went for 45/10/4

You asked a question and when someone gives a decent enough answer, we come up with excuses?

Rondo, Josh Smith, K Love, Durrant, and Rose all could do it, but I will concede that Lebron would be the most likely to do it on any given night.

Rondo and Josh Smith cannot and will not even put up that line.

IF Rondo wanted to score, I think he could do it. The dude easily puts up redic stat lines of like 20/15/15.

It's unlikely it would ever happen but if Doc put a gun to his head and said try and score more, he could hit 40, but his assist total would decrease drastically, maybe in the 7-9 range

No Rondo is not a good scorer. Teams let him shoot jump shots because he can't make them consistently. He's an average scorer.

The best game of the postseason by far.

Somewhere in the top 5 performances this postseason is definitely Paul Pierce in Game 2 against Atlanta with Rondo and Allen out. 36 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists. Yes, he didn't shoot it that amazingly, and he turned it over a shite ton, but they needed someone to step up. He really saved their season.

Yep. Crowd was intense and every possession felt like it really mattered from the tip. First game ive seen this post season with that feel to it

What other player in the NBA could have put up 40 points 18 rebs and 9 assists after being called out and needed to win to even up a series? Could any other player not named Lebron do it??

Shaq in 01 had 28 points 20 Rebounds 9 assists and 8 blocks in the Finals

I'd say Dwight Howard is the only other player in the league today that could legitimately do it.

He's their star. He can get 40/20. And if the Magic were draining threes, he could rack up on the assists.

Lakers - OKC games 2,3 and 4Especially the one in OKC when they rallied to win.

I think he's talking about players individual performances though.

Problem is he has a really low assist rate because of the hockey assists. The guy he passes it to never shoots.
