JR Smith is going to be his team's #2 offensive threat for the next 3 games, so yes you can

You mean the same JR Smith that hit 10 3's in a game last series?

Oh yeah, that one....

Keep grasping for straws young fella

I didn't realize that it'd be a colossal upset if the cavs won this series.

MJs supporting cast won 55 games without him. For a team toose their best player and still win 55 games puts them up there with the best ever. Not sure how that is confusing

No. Saying a team without a player was still one of the greatest teams ever implies that they won a championship without that player. You know, since you're saying they're one of the greatest teams ever?

there was a big statistical analysis and it would be. GS is a historically good team and the cavs are like the 3rd worst finals team ever or some shite

Take it up with math.

quote:

For James, though, this year’s supporting cast still eclipses the group he dragged to the Finals in 2007 — if barely so. Replacing James with a league-average player (rated 0.0) would drop this season’s Cavaliers from a +5.4 talent rating to -0.1. Yanking James off the 2007 Cavs would make a +6.2 team play to a rating of -0.2. James’s own rating was marginally better that year, but the 30-year-old has also relied more heavily on his teammates this season, playing 10 percent fewer minutes per game (weighted by the leverage of each game) than when he was an up-and-coming 22-year-old.

Math doesn't matter to a lot of these guys. It's all about the eye test, which is about as reliable as forming your opinion based on the color of their jerseys. You see what you want to see. Numbers don't lie.

If Kyrie is out, game 4 could be magical. We might get Celtics ECF Lebron.

He'd have better teammates if he played in the West, but he's chosen to coast through the shitty Eastern conference twice
