Can't wait. The weather is cooling off, the kids are starting open gyms for their school teams, and the Cavs are going to have a devastating front court.

Storylines for the season:
LeBron/new look Cavs
Kobe's return
Will the rookie class live up to the hype?

What else?

The earliest I start to pretend to care about the NBA is when the playoffs start.

Never left. Skinny arse Marc Gasol learned how to dunk in the offseason. Everyone is fricked.

If the season feels like it just ended, great job by the NBA by keeping the league relevant in the offseason. A game hasn't been played in a few months. Draft, Free Agency, USA Basketball, all keep the NBA in your thoughts.

Can the Spurs stay dominant?
Will Durant and Westbrook take the next step?
Can DRose return to form?
Can Melo (and DFish) make NYK relevant again?
How competitive can the Heat be?
Will Indiana drop out of the playoffs?
Can Washington contend in the East?

And for me, can Stan Van Gundy help end the Pistons recent period of misery?

I can think of many more storylines.

Can't wait.
