NBA champs vs US Olympic team? Who you got?

Don't go crazy on me but I really think the nba champs would be better and I'm not just talking about this warriors team.
I would argue that a team with defined roles and clear cut leaders would be a better TEAM. What you think?

No. Absolutely not. Chemistry only gets you so far when facing LBJ, Anthony Davis, Harden, Westbrook, etc. all on the same team. I mean Warriors were pretty close to losing to the Thunder. Olympic team wins 4-0

The wild swings in opinion on this board during the NBA playoffs are truly a sight to behold

GS just got all they could handle from Westbrook and Durant. Add in Lebron, AD, CP3, (assuming they play) etc and I'm putting all my money on the US Olympic team.

Lebron couldnt beat the warrors even with those guys

I'm not talking just GS. I would argue the same thing with OKC.
I just feel like a team full of individual scorers would be too selfish. You need people to do the dirty work.

The Olympic bench would be the difference.

I think so too. fricking like Damian lillard would come in for scrub minutes in the Olympic team. That's absurd

It's a wonderfully awful time of year

I think the NBA champs would be better.
Think about it... Team USA has trouble playing against Spain. Spain's team is made up of Marc and Pau Gasol, Ricky Rubio, and a bunch of European players.
That team would absolutely suck if they were an NBA team.
And the USA Olympic team has to really play them hard to win.
The Warriors would absolutely destroy the crap out of the Spanish national team.
In theory, throwing a bunch of the best players together on one team seems like a good idea, but in practice it isn't always the best thing because those guys are used to only playing one way... being the stars on their own team.
The Heat had trouble just incorporating Wade, James, and Bosh together. Having to incorporate a team of ALL super-stars is very difficult.
The best teams function as a unit with defined roles. It's hard to turn Damian Lillard into a role player, for example. If he's not scoring a bunch of points because he's having to defer to LeBron and Curry, then what use is he out on the court? Same with the rest of the team.

Man I thought this was going to be Golden State vs The Dream Team at first.

The Warriors bench is not going +20 on the Olymic bench.

The Spanish team's bench is made of up players you've never heard of. The Warrior's bench would do fine.
And where are you getting +20 from?

So you're telling me Livingston and the Warriors bench could keep up with all-NBA 2nd and 3rd team guys? Ok.

My bench will kill your bench. My starters are at least as good as yours.
My starters are LeBron, KD and Boogie, Westbrook and Damien Lilliard.
My bench is
AD, Drummond, Carmelo, K Leonard, Paul
I like my bench a lot. I will start them in game 2 if we are doing a series of 7 games.
