Depends if he has any athleticism left. It's a shame, 49ers have had some damn good LBs there and now none.

A great 49er, sad to see him go but he doesn't have a place in a full rebuild. Need to get the young guys experience to see what they have.

Pretty sure the Niners did this as a gift to Bowman. Let him play with a decent team again.

It is crazy how business-like the NFL has become that teams can so effortlessly pull the trigger on long-term vets. Rosters are turned over so quickly.
