Gordon, Johnson, Kenseth, and Stewart were among 13 drivers that never made a qualifying lap because they were stuck in inspection. All will start at the back and all will have shitty pit stalls.

Don't know all the details but when you go through tech twice and still don't pass then it is on the crew chief.

It's a lot more exciting to watch as a fan but its still should be changed back to the old way

They drew for spots to go through inspection. According to the boys in the booth only 12 cars passed their 1st round of inspections. All of the aforementioned cars were waiting for their 2nd inspection. Cars were continuously coming out of inspection well after qualifying was under way.

Every car made it through tech at least once with 17 minutes left before qualifying started.
I prefer the group knock out qualifying over single car.

Well I guess it's a good thing that NASCAR pushed qualifying back 15 minutes. 2 minutes would have been cutting it close.

inspections involve lasers now that are going to catch a lot of the rule benders that were wink wink let through in the past.
it's eventually going to be a plus but will take some time to work out the kinks. make sure your car meets specs and you won't have any problems. it's that simple
