Last night he stated "it's in your hands now The Committee."

Sounds so odd, clearly fired for poor grammar

No. He was just tired of beating Tennessee.

Well, if you would've typed it like it should've been, then it would read:

It's in your hands now, "The Committee".

...and not nearly as bad as your thread title grammar.

Punctuation at the end goes inside the quotation marks.

franklin is a piece of shite who won with thugs and rapists when the sec east was at its weakest point, and yet he failed to win a division title even once. he covered up rapes and other crimes and attempted to intimidate the victims. it's disgusting that the media swept that under the rug and gave him a free pass. briles is an angel compared to that piece of shite.

No, as I did not quote an entire sentence.

Doesn't matter. In the USA, punctuation marks always go inside quotation marks.

Well, I choose to go with the Brits since they created "English".

he's completely talking out of his arse. The accused players were dismissed from the team and expelled from school within days - before they were even charged with the crimes themselves. That's the complete opposite of covering something up. Vandenburg never even played a single regular season snap, so i'm curious how he helped Franklin win as well. Franklin may not be a standup guy and his comments about the victim and women in general were...weird, but Switzerland is full of shite.

While some questioned Penn State's decision to hire Franklin in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky child sexual abuse scandal, the story had faded into the background. That changed on Tuesday when The Tennessean published a report detailing a 24-page motion filed by defense attorneys for one of the accused players asking a judge to dismiss the case. The filing, which accused prosecutors of failing to preserve evidence, included an allegation that Franklin contacted the victim during a medical examination four days after the rape. Franklin and then-Vanderbilt strength coach Dwight Galt, who is now at Penn State, reportedly told the victim "that they cared about her because she assisted them with recruiting."

The filing said that at an unspecified time Franklin called the victim in "for a private meeting and told her he wanted to get fifteen pretty girls together and form a team to assist with the recruiting even though he knew it was against the rules. He added that all the other colleges did it."

The defense lawyers claim that phone records and text messages from Franklin, Galt and Vanderbilt associate director of athletics Kevin Colon are among the missing pieces of evidence.

The Tennessean reached Franklin on his cell phone on Tuesday, but he said he was "not interested in talking."

most vandy fans hate him. He really fricked them when he exited and took half the team with him. Things are looking up under Mason, who fortunately is an absolute standup guy.
