It's going to be Art Briles

The Baylor brass will think that a 6 month timeout will be enough and will bring him back

Just watch, this is what is going to happen

Interesting take.

I still doubt it very much. Any ways, why would they move on from the current coach now?

I am sure being a former TCU player hasn't influenced your thoughts on the matter.

This could happen. Although, the AD said recently that he would like to hire someone that runs a similar offense to what Baylor currently does.

Edit: Assuming Miles gets fired.

Their current coach already stated he knows he's only going to be there for one season

And winning 3 games doesn't mean they should extend the dude

Well Baylor likes to score a lot of points so that rules out Miles.

I could see it. They're dispicable.

Unless I missed something, he hasn't said that. He has honestly hinted both ways at different times.

Having said that, I don't expect him to get the job (or think he would want it).

You also can't blame him for the recruiting disaster of 2017. What is he supposed to tell a kid; "You will have great coach, but we don't know who it is."

Another guy to look at would be Sonny Dykes at Cal. Seems like he wants to leave

I'd guess Brent Venables, unless he would rather go back to Kansas State. Surely Snyder retires again this year.

Major's off the field issues will prevent that.

Jeff Brohm should get a look. Current coach at western kentucky and is known for offense.
