I am tired of ESPN, and annoyed by their reporters and their potential agendas, and it frustrates that some people there have the jobs they do. So as of now I refuse to watch espn as much as I can from this point forward. I will now go to cbs.sportsline and rivals for college football and other sporting news. Who is with me?

Been there.

MLB Network and NFL Network are better anyway. I normally only watch ESPN for games.

I only watch them when they are the only way I can get coverage of an event I am interested in. I haven't been on their website in years and I rarely ever watch sportcenter

A few weeks ago I imposed a self-ban - the only thing I watch on ESPN are live games, nothing else. I'm off of espn radio also.

To be honest, I really don't miss it and I used to watch a LOT. Also a lot less stress without getting pissed off at all of the idiot talking heads on there.

Also, the CNN SI website. I've been going there as a primary site for news/articles for a while.

I think Mandel is a pretty solid, level headed writer. Staples as well.

This is on par with how I feel. I switched to MLBN/NFLN/NBATV for news a while back. It's much easier to watch than ESPN. I can't tell you the last full SportsCenter I've watched.

Versus would seem to be the most logical choice.. but NBC is just terrible at sports coverage..

You should call Alleva and Slive and tell them to give all the money back that ESPN paid LSU and the SEC.

Sportscenter is the biggest example of agenda driven, tabloid crap TV.

I love College Gameday.

I love their 6:00 PM games most of the time.

30 on 30 are awesome.
Sorry, can't do it.

I watch College gameday and their 30/30s. Of course watch live events they cover.

All the extra fluff, including the website, I don't even bother. Cannot stand ESPN. At all.

Well, if those can still be watched, then I'm in cause I don't watch anything else on there.

I'm with you. I only watch ESPN when there is an event I want to watch and Baseball Tonight. Website wise I usually hit SI.com, CBSSports and NFL.com. Sportscenter can suck it.

What are the political agendas you speak of?

Not just political agendas, but like the Longhorn Network (they have to be pro-Texas to sell that), and the tmz-like obsession for Tony Romo, Tim Tebow, the Cowboys, the Yankees, Red Sox, Lakers, and pretty much big market teams. I think it takes away from the integrity of sports. Last I checked less than half of the overall mlb, nba, and collegiate fan bases were in support of those teams. Why just make a show to appease 20% of the overall fans, fans only of the Red Sox, Yankees, Lakers, Cowboys, and Texas longhorns? As a sports fan wouldn't you want the whole picture?
