Gotta go with Vernon Gholston. Drafted 6th overall in 2008 and never had a sack. He was a beast at Ohio State but didn't do shite in the NFL.

Ryan Leaf. I remember the debates and lots of people liked him over Manning. Not only did he suck, his life spiraled out of control.

I honestly thought Jamarcus would be a star for us. The following year we drafted McFadden and I thought we'd be set for the next 5-7 years

I'm pretty sure Russell had four 4thQ comeback wins in his brief career.

He played well enough to beat the Broncos in Denver in '09, and made drastically smarter decisions in later games against Baltimore, for example.

If he had any work ethic, he would have been mobile, strong armed and dangerous as hell. He's one of the most sickening wastes of football talent in history, IMO.

Not a bust but Laron Landry is someone who I thought could potentially be a HOF'er. His career surprised me in that it has not amounted to anything more than a journeyman starter.

I was so pumped for that Laron/taylor safety combo.

Landry was too much of a head hunter just when the league started to drift away from that.

Got drafted solely because he looked like this:

Landry was more interested in being a body builder than a football player

Aaron Curry. Todd McShay told me he was a can't-miss prospect and future Hall of Fam lock.
