Theirs is all about us as well. But it doesn't matter. Both songs come from a totally different era and totally different situation

And yet y'all still wear "saw 'em off" overalls.

Alabama/Tennessee...Alabama has won about 8 in a row. Not much of competition to be a rival.

Any/all of those Big 10/14 'Old Oaken Bucket' or 'Little Brown Jug' games.

I hear on next year's Air Force birthday, they'll finally be old enough to drink a beer. Maybe they can sit at the grown up table then.

A bunch of difficult, garbage games that don't even rate.
Ohio State Michigan is way up there; it is a nice game, but don't kid yourself into thinking its more than the 3rd best rivalry game in most years.
The Minnesota-Michigan battle for the Little Brown Jug, and the Alabama-Tennessee battle for the Used Wife-beater are both more hate crimes in progress, than football games --sorry, Minnesota; I enjoy when you win, but its as competitive as christians v. lions in the arena.
And for the sake of dead rivalries, that have been allowed to disappear, the Backyard Brawl. It was a pretty okay game, but is anyone actually sad it has effectively ended, without a set resumption date in sight?

Conference expansion killing OU/Nebraska and the backyard brawl has sucked. I enjoyed watching that one

90s UF FSU produced some of the best games of all time.

What? It's a true rivalry. You don't see UF fans say, "Oh well, we lost but let's keep the championship in the State of Florida. Go Noles!"
I assure you this happens only because the two schools are dominating college football at the moment. I realize even that isn't enough for some fans to root for their rival but it is pretty awesome what Alabama and Auburn have been doing.
I didn't root for them in 2011 or last year btw

Hasn't Minnesota won two straight?

Tennessee vs Alabama.
Like what is the fricking point.

As an LSU fan I won't disparage any rivalry since at LSU we don't play Tulane anymore and we don't have a school that sees us as an all-time, longstanding number 1 rival.
In reality, I wouldn't disparage Minnesota since they have three old trophy games that their fans like. I mean it's not about what we think it's what they think.
So what if we think Floyd of Rosedale or the Little Brown Jug or Paul Bunyan's Axe is over-rated? It's for them not us.

No, just this year's. Keep in mind, even with the win this year, a 50 year old Minnesota fan has seen his team hoist the LBJ 6 times, since they were born.
73-25-3..... slightly more competitive than Alabama-Ole Miss, and that's hardly trophy-worthy.

Steelers-Browns. A bug and a windshield are not rivals.
