Surely nobody will be surprised by this, just watch the games.

I wonder what the stats were for 2013. I understand that this year was bad as far as getting our money's worth, but we would be foolish not to give them a chance to develop the quarterbacks and see how the production is next year. Here comes the negatigers

Realitiger checking in.
I think Les deserves two years to compete for a SEC championship. If we have two more 3-4 loss seasons a change should be made.

Can this publication be called a rantard if they speaking honestly and negatively against the coaches, but don't post on here? Since observations like this are coming from off the board is it possible that some with their heads in the sand will acknowledge anything? It's more than just a one year "oh, they are just too young." The too young excuse is what Chavis gets for last year. Can't be "too young" almost every year. All coaches have players leave for the NFL. And if it's a trend where you consistently lose more players than anyone else, then you as the coach need to adapt and come up with some countermeasures against the negative impact.

It's obvious from that data. LSU is overpaying Cam Cameron based on this years results. I have no problem paying Frank Wilson his salary. It all starts with recruiting...amirite?

The Chart and stats fail to include SOS "Strength of Schedule". For example Ohio State has the highest out put per $ of salary spent but look at their schedule.
Does anyone not think that LSU could have similar stats with their schedule. I do. They certainly wouldn't be like they are now having to play Miss. St. Ole Miss, Bama, AU, AR, etc.

LO motherfricking L.
Based on our awesome performance against Iowa last season and Wisconsin this season, no. No I do not think LSU would have similar stats.

I assure you if this looked at the last 5 years, it wouldn't look favorable for LSU. At least 3 out of the 5 years, they'd be significantly under the trend line, and while last year was great, it's not like LSU wasn't paying anything for that offensive staff. It was $500,000 cheaper, which still probably had them at right about the highest paid.
In the end, this stat is flawed since it doesn't account for head coaching salaries. For guys like Les, Urban Meyer, Mullen, Freeze, Malzhan, etc, they are huge parts of the offensive staff, and same goes for Saban on the defensive side (their other staff).
If you include those guys in, LSU would likely be even worse.

It's not just Cameron and Wilson. We overpay all our coaches, which is what is the worst part of it on the offensive side of the ball. What does Ensminger bring to the table as our TEs have been useless. It's not just about the OC alone.

Would be a crazy thing to say at LSU 15+ years ago.
LSU didn't have close to the highest paid staff 15+ years ago.

And didn't have 3 or 4 loss seasons. Some of our fans got spoiled. If the rant was around during the hallman era this board's server would crash everyday

Nah. Because if it was this board would have zero expectations.

exactly, LSU is making an investment, and it's time to see a return. TAF fees and season ticket prices aren't dropping with expectations.
