First off, what are your Big 3 sports?
Why ask this? You know what the answer is. It's obviously not a woman's sport, and it's not something regional like hockey. Behind football and basketball, what's the 3rd most popular men's college sport out there?

The answer here is Louisville. Good football program, Pitino won them a championship and their baseball team in top 25 easily

Louisville, Florida, Texas, UCLA, LSU, North Carolina all up there.

Is this historically or within the last couple of years?

1. UCLA
2. Stanford
3. USC
Lead all schools with most NCAA titles...
Off-topic but...in reality...wanted to point out the deal with Stanford and UCLA...
Funny thing about Stanford - and all their NCAA Titles - it's mostly female sports jacking that up.
Stanford - 61 men and 43 womens titles.
Same with UCLA - 72 men and 38 women tiltes.
But - USC 83 men and 16 women titles.

Hockey is very popular at some schools. Minnesota and Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio State,Michigan State draw crowds that rival LSU baseball crowds.
Michigan and Michigan State have won titles in Football, Basketball and Hockey with MSU being the only school to win multiple titles in all three sports.
You need two categories. Football, Basketball, and Baseball and Football, Basketball, and Hockey.

UNC is a decent one.

Florida I'd say, down season this year in football obviously, but usually solid.
Yep, the basketball has been great under Donovan, football has had some rough patches, though. Baseball made 3 CWS in a row (2010-12).

And yet still no comment on whatever the third sport is whether it's hockey/baseball/insert other sport here.
You are correct about the other two, though. Obviously it's not a surprise with football, but Matta has been really damn good at OSU.
