I know the barstool employees would drive to New Jersey to place bets sometimes so I think you can bet if you're here. Idk about the bonuses.

I don't think they ever do anything until it's live. They don't pay for ads like the others. They'll send Mintz and probably Brandon walker to New Orleans like they're the kings of the south.

They sent Dave, Big Cat, Mush, and Brandon to Detroit when the app went live. I saw a few TV ads early on and an occasional web ad from them. It's not even 1/1000th of what Fanduel, Draftkings, BetMGM, and Caesars bombard you with everyday. I think Penn/Barstool is comfortable being about fourth in every market.

It's going to be a cultural shock for them when they get placed at this shithole Boomtown New Orleans for a weekend to promote the Barstool sportsbook

Barstool Sportsbook is in L’auberge in Baton Rouge. Or it will be eventually. They are starting construction the day after the super bowl.

L'auberge and Boomtown are both owned by Penn Gaming. Both have Barstool Sportsbook. Same as the Hollywood Casinos.

They are all similar. You'll pick which one to use based on different promos & lines that are offered that will vary from week to week. Just create an account for 2-3 different books and shop around using those.

Mintz is from New Orleans and a huge gambler/poker player. He's been all over the state and knows what to expect. Barstool will push the app whenever Penn gets cleared to go live and then will send some of them down to L'Auberge in BR when that sportsbook opens after construction.

I'm wondering if I can sign up now and place bets when I'm in Louisiana or if I have to wait for Mississippi to do online betting.

You only have to be physically present in Louisiana when you make the bet. Doesn’t matter where you live. It’s the same thing as all the people from New York crossing the river into New Jersey and making bets before it went live in New York.

I believe he was raised in north LA but has lived all over the state while working before Barstool. He reps Nola pretty hard.

What if you already signed up for for the app with anticipation of betting going live? Guessing you are fricked if that’s the case.

Not true you have to wager up to that amount to get equal before you can cash if won.

Depends on the app. Some have it if you sign up from a certain date before it goes live, it will automatically give you their promo one the app goes live.

I'm not sure what you're saying here.

I think their plan was to do a soft launch now and then have the sports book open in the fall. Probably come down here for a few weeks during CFB season, host their CFB show on campus, the whole nine yards.

That's been their blueprint for other states at least.

I think this is most likely. They are also now tweeting out that their app will go live Friday so I guess Penn just got the go ahead as well.

Fanduel has way more features compared to the others.

If you are just betting single game lines then yea it doesnt really matter.
