Another thing that makes it tough is that you've got to watch and make sure the guy you picked is in the lineup. I had a 15 game streak going last year, picked Posey, who was out of the starting lineup.

He pinch hit in the 9th and was retired, and because he recorded an AB, my streak was over

Carrera just lined out, but he should bat again in the 9th.

My booty would be so locked if my guy had one AB left to get me closer to 5.6M

I just looked at his streak, he's been doubling down pretty much the entire time. Dude's either got balls or he knows something we dont

Now it's over barring the jays batting around in the ninth

Lmao at making a $5.6M bet on Ezequiel Carrera on a night Freeman faced Bolsinger and Trout faces Pelfrey.

Seriously. What a strange pick.

Must be rough watching 5.6 million disappear when it's so close.

Was it set up like a survivor league? If so, he may not have had much to choose from. Pillar and Carrera are not even the best hitters on the jays.

I understand the thinking. Pillar and Carrera bat at the top of the lineup against a contact pitcher who has been awful and neither walk very much and have been relatively hot, but I don't think I would be able to live with myself if Ezequiel Carrera ended the streak.

If Mike Trout takes the collar against Mike Pelfre to end it it would be a hell of a lot easier for me to sleep at night.

No, you can choose any player any night or choose to double up on multiple players for a chance at two "hits" but if one doesn't get one you lose the whole streak.

No you can pick whoever you want (1 or 2 guys) and you don't have to pick a guy every day if you don't like any matchups.

If I am him I am waiting for sweetheart matchups. Ryan Zimmerman faces Bartolo Colon Saturday. I am waiting for matchups like that if I'm him.

This guy has probably been going on gut the whole time but this is a hell of a way to lose it.

I'd probably smash my TV and computer with a bat if I missed out on that amount of money by a few games.

I read he can still win $10000 even if he doesn't beat the streak, but it's not a life changing figure like $5.6M is.

Yeh he'll likely get the longest streak prize if no one else tops him but still.

$5.6M on the line and you put your fate in the hands of Carrera. That guy aint sleeping tonight

Damn. That's a crazy and ballsy sob then. I'm sure Jamille will have him on first take sometime this week
