I don’t think they’re part of it now but admittedly I could be wrong

But all of the Marlins bids were close with Jeter's group making the best offer.

I wasn’t talking anything about the amount
i was just saying A Rod is the Face like Jeter is
Unless A Rod is putting up more than Jeters $25 mil

I saw a tweet recently that said the 3 are closer to 2 and $1.7 B is low
LINK

SCOOP: People close to @Mets bidding process tell me $1.7B @AROD/ Viola/Repole bid is low; actual number is said to be closer to $2B that hedge fund billionaire Steve Cohen is said to have bid. Components of @AROD bid are not known ie how much debt is involved. More as I get it

I really hope SAC gets them

I already got BDT owning my football team

Would love for another Alpha like SAC in pro sports
I just don’t know if other owners would want to work with someone like him
And don’t know if the Wilpons want to sell to him

Jeter 25 4%
Bruce Sherman 46%

Among others in the ownership group (and their approximate stakes) are Viking Global co-founder David Ott (10 percent), Energy Capital Partners senior partner Doug Kimmelman (8 percent), Sigma Group founder Jaime Montealegre (7 percent) and The Beekman Group managing partner John Troiano (5 percent).

Michael Jordan even owns half of one percent

They may not have a choice if his bid blows the others away. The other owners are going to want the value he’ll bring

As @Ken_Rosenthal noted, Puig still needs to pass his physical and, presumably, a COVID-19 test before his deal with the Braves becomes official.

(55 mins ago) Buxton was diagnosed with a left mid-foot sprain Tuesday and is considered day-to-day, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Not as bad as initially thought.

I really enjoy the guys on yes other than Michael Kay
Although the Mets guys on SNY are the best Gary Cohen, Ron Darling and Keith Hernandez

The #MLB ruling:

If a player opts out he’s done for the season. He cannot come back regardless.
. Question was if players could come back later for the playoffs
