South Alabama sees Mizzou's 27 runs and raises them to 32
Also, my favorite part of the box score...

When things snowball on a given day, this can happen.
E. Illinois used 8 pitchers and they walked 12 and hit 7. Formula for disaster.
They showed marked improvement on Sunday by only getting beat 8-3

I wonder how this guy says his name...
If I had to venture a guess, I would say "OSS-mun", kinda like the former pitcher Paul Assenmacher, who pronounced it "OSS-en-mock-er".
Either way, I hope he never ends up in jail with that name.....

More impressive, Wichita St. once scored 21 runs in one inning alone.

who the frick is Mizzo?
And i hope they save those runs, 27 could be more than they score in a weeks worth of games.
going into season, is the Missouri kid, LSU #1 or #2 in pitching depth chart?

Less impressive...that record was set vs. Friends. Not the one with Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, but an NAIA liberal arts college in Wichita. It was done back in 1984, in the days when there was very little regulation on how many games a team could play and Gene Stephenson would play anyone with a pulse to get wins. His schedule was always littered with D2, D3, and NAIA schools.
In 1982, they made it to the title game in Omaha and went 73-14. 87 games in one season.
In 1985, they went 68-20 and didn't even make it to Omaha. How can you justify 88 games in a college baseball season?

more impressive, LSU scored 18 runs in one inning in the NCAA tournament against Georgia Tech in 1996. Tied an NCAA record with 13 hits in a single inning, also tied an NCAA record with 17 consecutive batters reaching base in an inning.

And kind of a weird part of the record and especially during that era of college baseball...there were no home runs hit
Actually there were 2 homers in the inning...here is the play-by-play of the inning. (I understand how your memory could be fuzzy)

22 hits, 12 batters reaching on walks, and 4 reaching on errors....even the baseball team at Mizzou has plenty of safe spaces
