Wasn't it Houston PD that gave Ryan Moats a hard time for making an illegal left at 2 am to get into a hospital parking lot with his pregnant wife?
Cops are out of control

His dad was tricked over by the police as well?

It was to see his mother in law, who was dying at the time. The cop was being a dick and wouldn't let him inside because he had to "verify that he had insurance"; the mother in law died, while he was stuck outside dealing with that POS cop

I'm pretty sure that was at Baylor Med Center in Dallas actually, so that would have been Dallas PD. But yeah, HPD has it's own share of questionable events.

I thought resisting arrest was a charge that happens when you're charged with something else and are refusing to be arrested. How can you be charged with resisting arrest by itself?
walking while black?

AD doesn't drink so he wasn't drunk. Sounds like they didn't like their authority being questioned.

Wonder if any Packers will put a bounty on him while in the Houston jail?

Apparently the whole thing was captured on cell phone and surveillance video

ow the hell do you get arrested, with the only charge being resisting arrest? Wouldnt you have to be being arrested for something to be charged with resisting?

It would have been some shite if he was injured in the fracas. What if he hurt his knee while being taken down by the cops?

I hope they do have cameras on this, and that if it played out like previously stated, the officer gets fired.

Situations like this, if true, is where the Blue Wall is a killer for police.
In the private sector, if a person screwed up, as the officers invloved might have, then a company would fire them and throw them under the bus.
Police though are going to stick by their own even when they are in the wrong.
