The new deal for Gundy is for five years and provides for annual automatic rollovers. The agreement replaces Gundy's previous contract, which would have expired on Dec. 31, 2019. His new salary, which is retroactive to Jan. 1, 2017, will be $4.2 million annually with a $125,000 annual escalator.

So where does a $4.2 mill contract place Gundy, today? That's not much of a raise from his previous $3.9 mill a year contract.
