Greenberg is fricking horrible.... he even tries to act nerdy... pathetic... even I have followed sports longer than he has and could carry the mic for 4 hours a day....

Well, the flip side of that is just because someone's an athlete doesn't mean they know more than people that haven't played.

I have no problem with this... it's hard at times when they have a former football player try's by to talk about the NBA or baseball.....

But Greenberg is over the top with the way he acts like Jay Cutler should not be on any NFL roster cause he sucks, yet he is a better QB than his favorite team has.....

Nancy Grace is at the top of most people's list.. but for me it's Greenberg without a doubt.

Nancy Grace, Mike Greenberg, Jemelle Hill and Keith Olbermann would the GOAT round-table Mt. Rushmore show.

I'm still trying to figure out how Greeny can carry a solo show. The only thing he is good at is the advertising reads, which seem to be pretty much non stop on that show

Do you remember when Golic went on PMT? He seemed to enjoy making fun of Greenie more than you would have expected.

Oh yeah. He was dying whenever PFT started his impression.

“From Golic’s perspective, he thinks Mike [Greenberg] should have come to him and told him he wanted to do his own thing,” said one of the ESPN-ers. “But Greeney is very non-confrontational, truly a nice a guy, and he would say that it wasn’t incumbent on him to tell Golic everything about what he wanted to do professionally. I guess I can see both sides.”

I never really cared to listen to them, but that's kind of a shame on Greenberg's part. It just seems like common decency to tell a friend you want to do something else, particularly if your decision is going affect them professionally. If he's really your friend, why would you feel like hiding it is a good idea?

Golic seems like a genuine dude who has a good rapport with everyone, going back to his playing days. If Greenberg had just been up front with him, I bet Golic would be supportive and they'd be fine.

There is no excuse after 18 years together for Greenberg to not talk to Golic about his decision, as it obviously impacts Golic's so much. Despite their age differences, their families were close. Cann't see Golic, Jr. doing any co-hosting with Greenberg going forward.

I knew I liked the right Mike. Funny thing is I think Golic will end up okay because he is likeable and he does a decent job. Greenie is going to fail miserably and it's going to be awesome.

This just seems like something you would expect from Greenberg. I think Golic seems like a good dude and at least a heads up from Mr. Berg that he wanted to go in a different direction.

If Greenberg makes 6.5 million, no one should ever joke about paying athletes too much money. There are probably hundreds of sports talking heads across the country that could do better than him, and they'd do it for a fraction of the salary.

No.

Do not put Golic on Gameday.

They've already fricked it up enough already.

When it comes to opinions and analysis, sure

But I've heard multiple people across espn radio say how good Greenberg is at driving or controlling a radio show.

I know the popular thing to do is hate on this show. I know it's bland as hell, but at 5 am when I drive to work and am still half asleep it's the least abrasive thing on FM radio. Of all the horrific hosts on ESPN, these 2 are far from the worst.
