Yeah is he making his team go to spring training instead of spring break?

Also the NCAA needs to get this fricker in check.

Recruiting in the south. SEC schools are going to throw a fit.

Saban is already pissed about Michigan's satellite camps.

It's not banned by the NCAA but it is by the SEC. Probably easier to just remove the SEC rule rather than try to force the NCAA to change the rule. Then again, I understand why the SEC has the rule in place.

I feel like sleeping at kids houses, and moving your entire football team to another state is a bit much.

Obviously nothing wrong with it in the rules, but it is just going to get out of hand.

Is he doing this during their spring break? No problem if iris. If they miss class time, I'd be furious.

dang. just realized it was being held at IMG Academy. Wow. What a move.

According to twitter:

Michigan's first four spring practices will be held at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

Last year Michigan's spring practices started in late February. I am not sure when they start this season.

February 29th - March 5th is UM spring break this year. So it is safe to assume that these 4 practices will be in Florida during spring break.

I assume boosters are paying for this? It has to cost a shitload to send an entire team across the country and house/feed them for a week. It's like a bowl game without the payout.

Many HIGH SCHOOOL baksetball programs travel to week long camps every spring or summer. If they can afford it, Im going to assume the University of Michigan can send a few more people down as well.

I thought there was practice hour limits on spring practice. It seems you would end up having issues complying with that.
