Michigan had a psychological advantage after scoring that TD in OT and should have struck right away. Even Speight smelled blood, yet Harbaugh of all people reneged.

Can you imagine how badly Harbaugh gets grilled if he goes for two and they don't get it? Ohio State's kicker has proven to be unreliable all game and Michigan's defense had looked good for the most part. I have no problem with playing the game out. Just didn't work out for them.

Who cares about getting grilled? He is not getting fired if they get stuffed on the attempt. On the road in that hostile of a environment after blowing their lead late. Best chance to win was after they had them reeling not to reset and give them a chance to regroup.

Last year Bret took the chance and beat a ranked Ole Miss team going for it.

I doubt it. They knew exactly the kind of coach Harbaugh is and his tendencies when they signed him. I'm sure fans and alumni expected him to go for it too.
