quote:I think it all depends on the franchise for sure. A west coast environment with a lot of attention whores and people doing their own thing could work. A smaller market team with a lot of guys from middle America, no real big star players, and a fraternity atmosphere probably wouldn't work.
Not a bad deal ending up on either of arguably the best organizations in league.

quote:sorry, didn't read the entire thread - must be talking about a potential draft choice - thought it was about a large company that has facilities in Louisiana.
A GM can ask if a potential draftee's mom is a hooker.

but the instant that person wants to make a law that keeps a certain group from being treated the same as another group, that seems like clear cut intolerance to me. I dont see how you could call it anything else
So if I am against polygamy, I am a bigot?
What about incest?
I've got a strong suspicion that your "tolerance" has pretty significant boundaries, yet your definition of a bigot is completely open-ended.

OK, what laws and rights did I say they shouldn't have? The right to change the definition of a word?
Not sure why this became a gay marriage debate, but Webster changes definitions and adds new words every year.
Also, it used to be between a white man and white woman, ore black man and black woman. Some religious leaders wouldn't marry a mix race couple. Is gay rights the same as 1960's civil rights? No, but it's our generations chance to stop telling a particular group they aren't allowed to do the same things as is.
What we should be talking about is how him coming out changes nfl prospects, and I don't think it does.

Polygamy is fine by me.
As far as I know, and I'm not educated on incest, it leads to mutations and retardation in children. Which I'm not OK with. I'm also not OK with smoking and drinking and drug use while pregnant. Or boxing while pregnant.

His agent must be slamming his head against the wall.
I disagree.
Anything that could cause problems for a player in the draft, a agent doesn't want coming out.
I cant believe there are any pro teams saying: " Oh goodie, another off the field issue we need to worry bout!"
