It just doesn't make sense Watt mocked Mett, not really a big deal. Mett is then asked about watts comments, and Mett responds. Once again, not a big deal. People are acting like Watt and Mett are missing workouts to "think about each other"

This. I don't know about you guys, but my memory tends to work without me consciously focusing. I'm sure Mett could have had his nose in his playbook all off-season and still have been able to recall a picture of Watt in a letterman jacket.

Lets be for real here. Mett is destined to be a career back up so any back and forth between him and Watt to get his name out there is good for him. Strike while the iron is hot get your 15mins a fame and then fade back to the bench.

well, the fact that the leading question wasn't ever mentioned in the ESPN link in the OP, and the only evidence one would have of this series of questioning is watching a fricking 13 minute interview which was linked from the ESPN page....seems pretty obvious how someone coudl be confused. In the link given in the OP of this thread, there was no lead in question. So that's what I was basing my opinion off of.

Mett's comments (I'm listening to Culotta and the Prince on ESPN radio) are phenomenal. He's a pretty funny dude. And I really like J. J. Watt...I think this is just fun.
