Don Mattingly said Zack Greinke & Yasmani Grandal work well together. Main reason for Grandal's start. 28th start in 34 Greinke games

We have lots of "auto outs" on our team so pick your poison.

Pederson is worthless offensively but so is Crawford.....although Crawford has had a couple of hits in the series....Pederson is way better defensively.

Yeah, Pederson is an asset defensively, but on offense, there's only 3 outcomes for him:

Strikeout
Walk
Home Run

And unfortunately, he strikes out in nearly a 1/3 of his at bats. His BB% is about 15% lower than his K%, and he actually ranked 6th in the MLB in BB%. He's a great talent, I hope he can improve next year.

Joc has a better chance (albeit a 2% to 1% chance) than Puig or Crawford to catch one and hit a solo shot. Mattingly is taking the safe route on defense and hoping for a miracle at the plate. I don't have a problem with that.

ETA: Also, Joc can still draw walks. Something completely foreign to CC and Puig right now.

oh im not even close to being angry over joc. his ability to play defense alone gets him the start tonight in my mind

No kidding. Hoping Greinke puts up some solid numbers and we only need 2 or 3 runs to pull off the win. Go Dodgers!

Another prediction: Greinke helps himself at the plate tonight.

Best hitting pitcher ever

If it's a 0-0 game and Greinke comes up in the 6th/7th with one on and bat flips Dodger Stadium is burning to the ground.
