Mens Slowpitch Softball in Baton Rouge

I know their are co-ed leagues for BREC going on right now. Does anyone know of a league or team I can join for a Mens Slowpitch Softball?

Do you have a team already? It's a pain in the arse trying to get 15-16 people to sign up and even harder to get 11 to show up on gameday.

Nope. I wouldn't mind starting one at this point, I just want to get out and play some ball. I wouldn't mind being in a competitive league.
For BR supposedly being in the top 10 recreational city, finding anything on Mens Slowpitch is surprisingly tough.
If anyone has a team and needs someone with speed, decent power, great arm. Let me know your email and I'd be happy to come out to a pick game to meet.

This ruins the fun for me. Playing on a Co-Ed team is more fun IMO but getting girls to show up every week especially when it might not be the best weather (really hot in LA or rainy and windy in Ohio) sucks. Trying to get people to show up for things they've committed to is really frustrating.

Exactly. It's takes all the fun out of it.
Dependable people are better than good players that don't show half the time. But then you lose the majority of games and that's not that much fun either.

Yea playing games a man down are no fun. Even if we're full strength winning/losing doesn't matter much to me, I just like to play, although I'm competitive. Try hards who should be playing A but play C ruin it also.
