I've heard that before where Tulane football is concerned...

Tulane's QB is pretty terrible.

He was playing pretty good until tonight. Memphis is a good team. We are just not there talent-wise

Ehh, he was good against UMASS and in the 4th Qtr/OT of ULL. QB play has been bad outside of that. Ciuellete isn't really a fit for this O. And the two freshmen Fritz brought in just aren't that good. Improvement is already pretty significant with Fritz, once he gets a QB things could get really good

I probably should have said "better" instead of good. He was trash until late in the ULL game like you said. The big thing to me was he had been protecting the ball, as in not throwing picks and making better reads in the triple option. That is probably why Willie Fritz (the sultan of ball security) has been going with him as the starter.

Brantley has more raw talent IMO, but we are one dimensional with him because he can't complete a forward pass.

Need a dual threat QB, need OL (bad!), need WR's, need corners and DL. Too many needs. Even with a limited roster we still might eek out 6 wins and make a shitty bowl game. That would be a tremendous accomplishment.

Good game, Tulane baws.

I like Fritz a ton. You guys will get there before anyone will give you credit for.

Love New Orleans.
