General Wade added two more players today. One being Sincere Parker from St Louis. He will be the Southland player of the year next year.

Good luck, but still time left. Coach is getting calls. Hope he stays and the lions and rest of the conference continue to compete against them but he’s a top 10 ncaa promotable coach IMO.

He's not going anywhere this year. He will be a very hot name in 2025 though if he has another great year

McNeese apparently raised over 7 figures for Wade to use for NIL to build this team.
Obviously not something they can do year over year but they are trying to make a big run.

Good question. Recently, Gordon McKernan stated on the radio that LSU's 2023 Football Team had about $4 million worth of NIL deals. If that is accurate, I'd be surprised if LSU men's basketball had much more than McNeese.

Based off the number I know 1 player got, I would say around a million maybe a little more.

Yeah I talked to someone at the fundraiser. Wade told them he needed a million to keep his guys and go get what he needed. They raised 1.2 million.
It’s interesting to see the pivot from football to basketball in terms of support but people love a winner. Question will be if they can sustain momentum after Wade leaves which I think everyone expects to be after next year.

Parker is a fantastic scorer, Creates his own shots. Terrible defender, like awful. That said, that can be partially blamed on Ford. Im excited to see what he can do under a real coach like Wade. One thing to be cautious about, there's a reason he couldn't collect that cash at a p5 school, theres big rumors about him being "uncoachable" multiple fights at SLU this year, used injuries to not play. I wanted him to stay because I think a large part of this was coaching, but apparently the AD staffers who stayed would not allow for him to stuck around. Hope it works out with a fresh start, the few times I met him he's was incredible nice, makes the rumors hard to believe. I'll be watching next year.

There is absolutely no way McNeese can continue produce a million in NIL year over year.
They are putting all of their eggs in 2025 basket. I’ll be pulling for them.
