Dude the Grizzlies have been the kings of this stat in recent years, so I understand the frustration but y'all are making it looks like some grand conspiracy.

Harden drove in to 3 defenders with the expectation of getting foulded, not to score like Gasol did. The ref swallowed his whistle like they do at the end of a lot of tight games and it just showed a glaring flaw in Harden's nearly flawless game.

That's bullshite. He was going to the basket and got hacked by a reach in.

Playing your game, even if that was his intention, it is irrelevant to the fact that he was blatantly fouled.

And no they aren't. The Grizzlies have shot 5 or less free throws 4 times in their history.

Last year, 2012, 2001, and 1996.

It's happened to the Rockets twice this season.

Foul calls get missed multiple teams in every NBA game

Well not all games are equal at this point. Look at the Western Conf. standings and you'll find out why Rockets vs. Grizz has a bigger impact than Lakers vs. 76ers. This call was also in the last minute of a very close game.

Out of every flop harden gets thisnis incredible how rockets are crying over this. I hope all this bitching makes the refs stop rewarding him for flopping

Flop, huh? You know the Rockets shot a total of 4 FT's last night, right? You need to watch more NBA basketball before you single out one guy. Also, do you believe teams have no reason to foul Harden? He's the leading scorer in the NBA and is likely leading the MVP race, yet teams don't try to play defense on him more aggressively? Seems like you're just a Harden hater, because the logic doesn't add up.

I'm not saying the refs weren't one sided last night, as I didn't watch the game. I just think it generally evens out unless you're a Mavs fan and Dan Crawford is your ref.

I said this last night, but I actually think Harden's arm flair hurt him in getting that foul call. It made it look like all he was trying to do was get the foul, not score. When someone slaps you on the wrist like that, your arms don't naturally move like that. It should have been called, but in real speed I can understand why they didn't call it. It looked like he wanted a bail out, but obviously that wasn't the actual case.

I have yet to see any video showing actual contact. The picture doesn't show his hand contacting Gasol, and his hand could just be in the middle of his form between his face and the basket. The league even reviewed it and didnt find anything. Weird, probably a conspiracy.

I can't speak for everyone else. It was a horrible no-call but we had our chances to win. It is what it is.

The shooting fouls were unbalanced in Mem favor. Rockets were not getting shooting fouls called. The overall fouls were roughly equal.

Maybe true, but why is that even considered by a referee before making a call? A foul is a foul based on contact, not assumed individual player agendas.

it was an obvious hack on his arm but then harden reacted like he got shot

you're right a foul is a foul but I think it's also a matter of hardens reputation for seeking contact, earned or not

tough to have a game end that way but credit gasol for canning the winner

Looked like a foul but as someone said no calls happen all the time in a game. It is also possible that Harden would have gotten a better look if they had run him through some screens instead of having him dribble for 20 seconds then watch him try to drive between 3 players.

Harden may have been able to do the same to Gasol if he would not have moved out of his way.
