No. Mike Tyson made $300 million in his career but was never worth that at any point. Just like Mayweather has made $400 million and is currently worth $280. Tyson did lose a few hundred million though by letting Don King, his ex-wife, legal troubles, entourage, etc drain him.

Forgets to pay taxes, gets sued, avoiding paying back loans, spends a ton on exotic cars that turn into liabilities, drops stacks to his entourage, buys dumb shite like mouthpieces filled with Benjamins, and so on.
Phenomenal athlete, obviously knows how to market himself, but makes terrible financial decisions. Someone like Lebron knows how to market and set himself up for the future along with the present day. Floyd is not the brightest bulb and it's likely his ignorance will get him in trouble down the road once he's not getting huge paychecks from fights.
