I don't get why there is so much hate on here for Matt. He does a great job, his job is to cover sports in the Baton Rouge metro area and he is great at doing that. Why so much hate?

Message board posters are pretty negative in general. About 95% of all reporters get Hate on this board, The few elite like SVP and Dan Patrick are the only ones that generally dont get overwhelmingly negative responses. It's just the culture of this board.

He is smarter than everyone listening to his show. Just ask him, he'll tell you that.
He sort of got slapped down today. He tweeted out some snarky comment about having Ben Love on today to supposedly smack down those that are speaking critical of Ben Simmons. Then when Love was on the air Moscona asked him about Simmons. Ben Love said that while he doesn't think that Simmons is overrated, he does not believe that he is doing everything he can to help LSU win. Ben Love blames the coaching staff for allowing Simmons to bring the ball up the floor instead of posting up down low, which would best for this team.

Matt is really a great guy... A good family man just trying to do a job he has wanted all his life. He loves sports and likes to talk about it... IMO his only downfall is if he takes a caller and said caller doesn't agree with him he hangs up on caller and then bashes him for the next 10 mins... He is trying to be a bigtime radio host in a small market.. Sometimes that just doesn't work.........
