I don't know if that was just because his car is that good or if there really is that big of a difference tires after a few laps or maybe I combination of both. Kahne and McMurrary were consistently 3-5 tenths faster than everyone when in open space. Both were 12+ seconds back at one point and knocked it down to less than 4 before the caution. That was just ridiculous.
