I honestly can't tell if Mark May was bad or if he was just behaving like a moron to play off the Lou Holtz clown show. I remember May being alright before the show went full circus mode.

Kannell does know his stuff, but he fell into the trap of your typical ESPN talking head, you rise quicker by playing a character/troll people hate. Looks like it paid off for him as well, so I can't blame him.

College Football Final used to be the GOAT (like 5-10 years ago). It was awesome to go to game and come home @ midnight and get hours of extended CFB highlights.
Now with the proliferation of sports channels and information, every game seems to be on TV and the show lost a bit of it's appeal. Plus West Coast games are always on late, which can be a viewing option other than CFF.
Still fond memories even tho I wasn't a May fan.

I have no idea why, but I really don't like Virk. I'm fine with Kannel.
