Yall were talking about Mark Hunt's record the other night and I didn't get a chance to respond.
His record heading into the UFC was 5-6.
The record looks horrible but if you looked at his losses then it doesn't look nearly as bad.
He lost his very first MMA fight then won his next 5 in a row bringing his record to 5-1.
Then he lossed to:
Josh Barnett,
Fedor,
Overeem,
Melvin Manhoef,
Gegard Mousassi
in that order. So looking at the competition his record is not as bad as it seems. The Gegard Mousassi fight is one thing but facing Barnett, Fedor and Overeem all in a row is quite ridiculous.
