Mario Cristobal is bringing the U back…right?

In a world of instant success expectations, he has Miami at 3-3 and trailing Duke by 10 early in the fourth. I believe that he should have a really long leash, but does any coach at a major program get that anymore?

Is Miami a major program? They have 1 billionaire buying in and a pretty uninterested alumni base. They still barely have anyone show up to their games. The 90s were the exception for Miami. They're a solid program that will never be what it was without broad alumni backing.

Nobody gets fired after year 1. They definitely want him to be the guy so he'll get 4 or 5 years.

I don’t get the Cristobal hate. He recruited better than anyone else at Oregon and had good teams. His offenses were a bit of a mess if they couldn’t overwhelm the opposition and it could get ugly but generally we were successful under him.

Pretty sad. ACC is the weakest of the power 5 and FSU and Miami are non existent for the most part.
