Every QB you listed had more exciting rookie years than Manziel. Well, idk about elway but I remember the others.

But sure, had they played in 3 games and sucked in all 3 they'd have been "not exciting". At least manning played. Not playing is about the most "not exciting" as it gets.

Were we talking about potential here? If so, we can now discuss how none of those QBs went into rehab after their rookie year either. Lol at comparing Manziel, the day of his announcement that he's in rehab, to hall of fame QBs

Im not comparing him to shite. But you have given him the not exciting label based on three NFL games.

He's played in three games. I think he can still be an exciting NFL player.

Completely agree there.

Let's be fair. He sucked in 2 out of 3.

And if he isnt exciting why did you and others watch his every game and every off field with baited breath?

He gets the media coverage because of how he acted in college. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to know that.

What is so exciting about not playing? What's exciting about watching a guy with a headset on?

I watched every game of his in college because he was exciting. I watched him in the NFL because I thought he'd be exciting. But then he a) barely played and b)when he did, played badly

You tell me. Why did you pray to god and mecca and cross every finger and toe watching his every move and play and have orgasms for every incompletion when he is just some boring player?

So now we've resorted to just making shite up? I've made it pretty well known on this board, and the SECr, that I wanted to see Johnny do well in the NFL.

Maybe use the search function next time you want to spout your rhetoric. Which is usually the first sign that someone doesn't know what they're talking about, anyways.

here's some proof for your arse

just because I think he's not exciting doesn't mean I have rooted for him to lose. I just think he's not very good, doesn't have the intangibles of a successful NFL QB, and that makes him unexciting to watch.

I hope he can get his shite togeather. Maturity is what he needs and I really don't know how a boy of his means can get it till he hits rock bottom.

i thought those texans were supposed to be tough and fight out the problems in the back yard with their family members? these days, they enter,"treatment facilities"

Broadway Joe played most of his games half drunk and some of them full on hammered

Nope. But he has been exciting in 24 games, and not exciting in 3. John elway, peyton manning, andrew luck, and tom brady would have been not exciting players for you too

What do you mean? What 24? Try NFL career. He is ranked 42 amongst NFL OBs. He passed for 175 total yards. He is in the big leagues now and already showing he is only exciting out clubbin.

I don't root against him but he does reek of a wealthy kid who isn't used to having to work hard for what he has. He was gifted enough to excel in college but seems unlikely to do anything serious in the NFL unless he completely reverses his work ethic.

He's not lazy and poor, he's lazy and rich judging by his behavior. I hope he grows up real fast before his opportunity evaporates.

This.
I'm afraid that a nickname like Johnny Football will make him a target if he ever does get a starting position. At 6'0" and 207 I never had high expectations. I don't think his off the field antics will ever allow us to find out just how great he could be.
