He has a fair point. Admire that he acknowledges the bat to crush someone with. Bet they don't try it again.

That being said baseball players have to be the biggest pussies in major sports

If the hockey player is flinging a baseball 95mph at the other hockey player's head, then yes, I do think it's stupid.


Here's a thought, if someone is mad at Machado for the slide on Pedroia, confront him and deal with it right then and there.


Or...a player hits a homer and admires it for 1 second too long(which is absurd to get mad about but I digress) and you don't like it, you know where he's going. Meet him at home plate and tell him you didn't like it and deal with it there. Waiting till his next at bat to throw a baseball at his head is almost quite literally the best definition of being a complete pussy.

I don't like it when pitchers throw at the head or knee. Giving the batter one between the shoulders or in the thigh for acting like an a-hole is fine in my book
