Who are the biggest critics of him in Texas? Anyone in the media? Was trying to search and it seems as though there are not many

The fans, rightfully so.
The Austin media is so sycophantic to Mack it makes me puke.
Actually, former player (not under Mack) and CBS sports guy Brian Jones is the biggest critic - and he's usually right on the money.

Texas sports media (all sports in the state, college and pro) is pretty soft in general.
