My problem is there is no next step.
In every campaign like this is a two step process. Step 1. Raise Awareness Step 2. Offer a solution (usually in the form of giving money).
In this protest Kaepernick completed step one. Done deal, everyone has heard his story now. But we are given no solution by Kaepernick or anyone who support him.
Where is the BLM organization I can cut a check to to alleviate my white guilt so I can go back to ignoring the issue like I do with breast cancer or anything else?
All we hear is "something needs to be done" for it to stop. Well what is it?
