Tech was lucky to have him as long as they did.

I agree but I also think it's unrealistic unless Tech is ready to pay a ridiculous dollar figure for a school our size.

He's a one-year guy. Now, if the freshman recruits start leaving, then you can worry.

couple of early names swirling around for the job.

Pat Knight and Richard Pitino have to be on the list right? Do Coach K or Calipari have coaching sons?

At least from what I've seen he is being very well received. I love the hire, think he fits perfectly at UF. Hope you guys find a quality coach that will keep the momentum going.

No mention yet that he's a Jesuit NOLA boy?

His dad was AD at Tulane too.

GREAT hire for UF, but the folks at La Tech are going to miss him big time. Hopefully they can keep it going.

That happened when they low balled Kim Mulkey. The only sport the La Tech have EVER been dominate at and now look at the women's roundball team. Sad!

Hopefully, LA Tech looks to bring in Tulane's Ed Conroy to fill the position.

That would be an absolutely horrible hire and there is no chance of that happening.
