"Such a big upgrade from what we're used to." Son you came from the University of Florida and have only been at Tech a few months. I'd say you're used to nice digs.

Whats the overall use for the facility? Strictly football uses or houses athletes/coaches from other sports as well? The Cajuns are opening their new APC in about two weeks which looks like a nice facility from what I've seen.

A lot of FGs and PATs are going to bounce off those windows.

They will have a net in place for kicks going into that end.

The end zones have actually had the stipe design since 2008. This summer they replaced the old turf with new turf and replaced "tech" with "bulldogs" and kept the shoulder stripe design.

Kenneth Dixon

He's quietly been one of best running backs in the country and should rocket up the career rushing TD list this season. I'll be keeping up to see how he does. Currently 21st all time with 53 career rush TDs. Montee Ball is 1st with 77. So 25 TDs for Dixon to break it. Not impossible given what he's done in his 2 full seasons of carries.

Looks great, I know the fans and players are excited. Somewhat change of subject, but how do yall see the QB play at Tech this year? Isn't there gonna be a new starter?

I wish La Tech nothing but good luck.

All of those years in the WAC were not easy on their fan base.

Thank you. It was hard but it paid off in the long run. It's nice to be able to play regional teams now such as Southern Miss., Rice, etc. Southern Miss. will be back to a decent program soon. It's a shame what has happened to them even though a lot of it is their own doing. I look for Southern Miss. to turn the corner this year and have a winning record and make a bowl.
