#decline is real.

LSU 7-4
Saints 5-8
Pelicans 11-19

None of the major Louisiana teams in danger of making any sort of playoff in 3 years. None of the secondary Louisiana teams doing anything noteworthy to make up for it. Each team has a world class super star between Fournette, Brees and AD and each team dissapoints spectacularly.

Was there a worse year in the 90s?

1990

5-6 LSU
8-8 Saints
25-56 Hornets

Looking through this looks like in a 6 year span late 80s-90s LSU accumulated 26 total wins yikes...

It appears that LSU is due for a rebound. They have new coaches and plenty of talent, so I'm not worried about them going forward. The basketball team seems to be playing slightly better than expected, but with an atrocious OOC schedule and the SEC being completely devoid of respectability outside of UK, they will have to walk a very tight rope to even sniff a tourney birth. I haven't seen anything from this team that leads me to believe they can make the big dance this year or any year with Coach Johnny Jones.

The Pels proved that with their full lineup they are a legit contender, but that lineup simply cannot seem to stay healthy. They lack the depth to suppliment their starters. They need a major overhaul of their conditioning staff and a front office change.

The Saints have similar issues to the Pels. All of the pieces are there, but they just can't seem to keep enough healthy depth to compete week in-week out in all phases of the game. I have seen major progress in the play of the defense (the line in particular). While the present isn't great, they could be trending up, but it's the Saints; so who knows?

Our pro teams are still doing better than the ones from Arkansas, Mississippi, or Alabama.

So do I get a full refund on all the Louisiana taxes I paid this year?

Take out north LA and Louisiana would be ranked worse than Mississippi in pretty much everything.

I'm from South La but cover both states for work. I realize you're just being a jerk for fun, but North La is highly populated, whereas Southern Ark is empty. 80% of Arky population is from Little Rock then North. Even Texarkana is predominately in Texas.
