Going by the only logic that you are using, midweek games, McNeese has to be #1.

quote:

McNeese St. (20-11)(10-5), RPI#82 - beat ULL, LSU, & LT, swept UNO, split with ULM, lost series to NW St. (Series remaining with SELU, Nicholls, & a game v/s Southern)

1st, I was using head-to-head match-ups in-state, as it is an instate poll. if teams only play each other during midweeks, I can't help that.

I do agree that McNeese can be higher, but I put them where they are due to RPI.

for sure but it's hard to argue that Southeastern is not the best team in the state at this point. By next Wednesday, we'll know without doubt.

we can talk SOS, but I think that the Southland is very close to the Sunbelt this year. Most projections have both conferences sending an at-large this go around.

Midweeks are not a good indicator, SE didn't face anyone's weekend arms. That might be a bigger factor than you think.

How does that make any freakin sense based on your rankings?!?!?!

quote:

t4. ULL (22-11)(10-5), RPI#21 - beat UNO (1-of-3), Nicholls (1-of-2), swept NW St., split with Tulane, lost to LT (1-of-2), McNeese (1-of-2), LSU (1-of-2) (Series remain v/s SELU & ULM)

t4. Louisiana Tech (18-11)(6-6), RPI#88 - beat Southern, ULL (1-of-2), ULM (1-of-2), Grambling, lost to McNeese (1-of-2) & LSU

6. McNeese St. (20-11)(10-5), RPI#82 - beat ULL, LSU, & LT, swept UNO, split with ULM, lost series to NW St. (Series remaining with SELU, Nicholls, & a game v/s Southern)

First, McNeese should at least be above LATech. Higher RPI, better wins against In-State teams.

You're only argument for having McNeese below ULL is RPI and the Series against NWST.

Downvote for stupid logic!

I think he's using the eyeball test. Those putrid school bus yellow uniforms have him hallucinating.
