Louisiana and Mississippi is the heart of College Baseball

1 Louisiana-Lafeyette
2 Tulane
1 Mississippi State
1 Ole Miss
2 Southern Miss
Unreal for two states to have this many talented teams and not a single 4 seed.
Hoping to see a bunch of these teams in Omaha. I think you'll see two, if not three teams out of this list playing in late June. Fan support and atmosphere is untouched among all of these teams. Check in this bitch if you are are attending a regional with one of these teams

Louisiana puts out tremendous talent in college baseball. All the schools in state benefit.

B/C we're too poor and small to have an MLB team within 300 miles of us and have to settle for "PLINK!!!"

I mean there are like 5 states in the country that give a frick about college baseball. The bigger surprise is how the state of California only got 4 schools in this year

That was more true 5 years ago than it is now. More and more schools are starting to care about baseball.

Even more impressive considering Northwestern State, UL-Monroe and UNO have all had pretty good success in baseball in the past.

It's unmatched IMO. Mississippi just can't match the number of schools that Louisiana has, but MSU, OM, and USM is strong 1,2,3. In Louisiana, you got LSU, Tulane, ULL up top followed by a bunch of teams with good history

Look the State of LA is playing some great baseball right now, no doubt, congrats.
talk to me in 5 years, see if half these colleges are even open
