They'll change this one just like they adjusted the tuck rule after the Raiders/Pats controversy. It was called correctly according to the rule, and until the rule is adjusted, it's still not a TD, no matter how retarded the rule may be.

they didn't really get screwed, but it's still something you hate to see. They should def change that rule.

That wasn't a catch as far as I am concerned. He didn't place the ball on the ground when he rolled over, it popped out. He did not maintain possession.

Not a TD. All officials and the NFL agree the call was correct. It is the rule that sucks.

I think Johnson got screwed. He CLEARLY maintained control after he touched the ground. The rule doesn't state that he has to maintain control forever, and it doesn't state that he has to maintain control after the BALL touches the ground.

Of course they do.

Just like the SEC (and the head of officials) said all the calls in the Auburn 2006 game were right. Even the ones made by the Auburn booster in the replay booth.
