Tom Rinaldi is pretty sappy, but this is a great piece.

Craig Cunningham suffered cardiac arrest before an AHL game. He had played 63 NHL games with 8 points, no star but a good teammate. Was captain of the Tucson Roadrunners (Coyotes' minor league team). His heart was stopped for 83 minutes. A badass doctor named Zain Khalpey saved his life. Later part of his leg was amputated because of an infection due to lack of circulation. With his playing career over, the Coyotes hired the 26 year old as a pro scout.
